9/16/03) episode 4 favorite line: "The Hardest Thing could be a popular gay song." Nick on a discussion of the 98 Degrees gay tribute group 69 Degrees. 2nd favorite line: "My boob makes it curve"...Jessica on trying to golf The episode starts off with Jessica having made this horrendous smell in the bathroom. Nick makes this big deal (funnily) over it. Then it's back to the drama with jessica being upset that Nick is doing a radio interview with Playboy radio, and then subsequently having been invited to a Spike TV party at the Playboy mansion. The Playboy interview was harmless enough with the intro being how to pronounce Nick's name..."nicholas" chey or "nick lachey". Two strippers come in the middle of the interview and sit on either side of him. Nick makes an attempt to not go to the mansion, but his publicist? says it would look bad, so he decides to go. and that shot of the house...man they still got one messy room there. We see Drew hanging around the house quite often. And he goes off to the Playboy mansion....with Leah's blessing. Drew comments "you're so cool". Jessica: "All you ever do is clean, watch tv and hang out with Drew." Nick: "Hang out with Drew?" camera cuts into the next scene..Nick talking with Drew....golf at 2pm...sure. Then, Nick asks Jessica whether she wants to play golf or not...he's sure that Drew and Lea will go. Jessica says sure...somewhat reluctantly. Jessica and the driving range...lots of whines. Jessica driving golf cart...watch out!!! Those houses on the golf course...watch out for Jessica's shots. 2 complaints of I have to go to the bathroom...make that 3 (one has they drive away in their SUV) episode 5: Jessica records her first single. Drew and Nick go to Cincinnati to sing (including "my everything" at their grandmother's wedding. episode 3 Episode 3 is all about Nick and Jessica's camping trip to Yosemite National Park. The episode starts off with the planning. We see Drew and his wife Lea, accompanying Nick and Jessica on this trip. The two guys load up their SUV while their wives sit around and watch. They are only shown helping load 2 bikes to the back of the SUV...but they're barely able to do so. During the car trip, there are complaints of "I have to go pee really bad". At the campsite, it's the two guys who once again do all the setting up. There's talk about the danger of bears. Probably the most amusing part of the whole episode is when they sit around the campfire asking each other "what if" questions. Such as, what if this really attractive person you meet would die in 6 months...would you still want to go out with her. Or what if this attractive person would betray you within 6 months time. Nick of course is in a no win situation, especially when he answers he wouldn't want to meet an attractive person if he knew she would die in 6 months. Jessica obviously didn't like his "no" answer. Then the bathroom episode where we see the two girls scream as they come out...well that turned out to be a funny prank in the dark by Drew. Most unattractive part of the show: Leah and Jessica taking turns burping. episode 4 preview: Nick goes off to the Playboy mansion sans Jessica. Nick and Jessica have some fun on the golf course. episode 2 episode 2 is essentially an episode all about Nick picking the dancers for his video. And Jessica being jealous?!! Nick doesn't seem all that comfortable when Jessica is around. And it got to the point when the director thought the performance was a bit too sexual. The dancers aren't dressed in all that much, and their panties all say Nick on the back. Perhaps as a way to get over her jealousy, Jessica goes out shopping and somehow manages to buy underwear that cost $700. yikes! Nick obviously wasn't too pleased with that. At the end of the episode, Jessica and Nick perform for the first time together in several years at a USO concert. They sing "Where You Are" together. Nick sings "Shut Up". After having had to watch Nick work with his dancers, Jessica, in jest, does a little "lap dance" for a guy she pulled from the audience, all while she sings. The arguments are what makes an episode, and they (of course) argue about petty things. Such as when Nick disappears from the room down into the lobby without first telling Jessica that he was going. episode 3 preview: Nick and Jessica go camping episode 1 I caught most of episode 1 of the new MTV reality series featuring the lives of Nick and Jessica. It is receiving heavy rerun play on the channel currently. The first episode features a lot of their time in their mansion...and trying to keep it tidy. At one point is a close up of a huge pile of clothes that sits in the foyer. There's a long running disagreement on how Jessica wants to get maid service, and Nick thinks it's ridiculous. Nick is seen moving stuff from his condo after he was able to rent it out, and has his brother Drew come help him out. One wonders why they did not get professional moving help cause it's a s***load of stuff. In the end, they do attempt to hire a maid. Nick does the interviews. episode 2 preview shows Jessica in charge of choosing the dancers for Nick's video.
