Newlyweds:
Nick and Jessica Episode Guide episode 5
This episode starts off with Jessica trying to get the garage door to close with a remote...but alas, the damn thing won't shut. We never do see the problem get fixed. After the intro, Nick goes into the studio to record "Shut Up" and Jessica goes into the recording studio to record "Sweetest Sin". Then they're on their way to Cincinnatti. Drew and Lea, and Nick and Jessica are traveling there so that they can sing at Nick and Drew's grandmother's wedding at a independent living center...and as Nick found out from Drew...that's not the same as an nursing home or an assisted living center. At the airport, Jessica finds out that the recording company doesn't like how she sings it, saying that she makes it overly complicated. Jessica is very upset over this. Nick finds out from his recording company that they will ultimately leave it up to him to decide which single to release first: the more edgy "Shut Up" or the more 98 Degrees like song "This I Swear". Nick prefers "Shut Up". Before going to the ILC, Nick and the gang spend a day at the amusement park. I think I caught a glimpse of Justin Jeffre there in one of those frames. At the wedding Nick and Drew sing "I Do (Cherish You)" and "My Everything" after a few technological delays. Of course, as with most episodes these days, there's a bunch of farting (i.e. exiting from the van) and we see Jessica with one of her infamous belches.
