The "we're rich" moment...or maybe not: Jessica: "i don't like it [soft shelled crab] either...maybe we should tell him so we don't have to pay for it."

corporate sponsors of the day: Home Depot...they should use Jessica's half-hearted praise on how she loves the store. GM...got great advertising with Nick's love (and free 3 month use) of the Hummer H2. Louis Vitton...seeing how Jessica's love affair with her purse ended up being a love affair with the matching coin bag and wallet she got as a birthday present. Raid insecticide actually kills bees. And notice, none of these companies had their logos censored...hhhmmm.

blonde moment: Jessica actually called herself a "stupid blonde" in this episode. That and she called "incense" -> "incent". Plus she said that "killer bees are extinct", when in fact they are continuing their relentless invasion of the US.

the how to get sick moment: Nick tasting the honeycomb of the bees he just killed with an ENTIRE spray of Raid. That and the fact that Jessica pointed out there was mold growing on it.

bodily noise moment: actually came from one of the guests during a limo ride to her party, and Jessica had the fortitude to further ask:"did you eat chinese?"

98 Degrees moment: once again we see Drew and Justin in this episode. Haven't seen Jeff in any episode as of yet.

Synopsis:
This episode centered on Jessica's birthday and on Nick's attempt to eradicate bees. It starts with Nick wondering what all that buzzing noise is. They then make an extended trip to Home Depot, which Nick just loves and Jessica looks bored as hell. Nick gets a bunch of stuff and even buys stuff to install extra outlets in the house.

Once home, Nick proceeds to use an entire spray bottle of Raid, while Jessica declines to help and says she will be going to exercise. Through precision use of the editing, all we see is Jessica lounging around watching TV instead of exercising.

Jessica's friends arrive for her birthday, as does her parents...bringing loads of cookies. And flowers by the boatloads starting appearing in the house. Drew and Lea are the club making preparations for the "Mad Hatter" themed party.

Prior to leaving, Jessica has her hair stylist in her home making sure she looks great for the party. The group finally arrives at the club an hour after it starts. They are taken there in a limo. There are many guests there, including Lance Bass of 'N Sync. Access Hollywood has also been invited and does interviews.

In the last scene, we see this huge honeycomb that was the source of the bees...and it was definitely enormous. yikes!

Season Finale: next Tuesday we see Jessica attempting to cook and Nick taking her on a surprise trip.
