What has been the
highlight of your whirlwind tour?
Playing at Wembley was a very big treat for us. I think every band wants
to play at Wembley. We played 10 nights there and they were all sold out,
so that was nice.
Will there be a new Westlife album soon?
Not this year, probably next year. We want to concentrate on Europe and
Asia for now and we'll be doing another UK tour around Xmas,b4 we record
our 3rd album. It’ll have the same the style of music as our 1st two album.
Why do u think your songs always do so well?
I suppose it's because they're great songs; we always release the right
kind of songs. And the timing's been good too. We always release our singles
when there's nothing much else out there with number one quality.

Swear it again
What is the motto in life that u swear by over and over again?
You only have one life so live it good If i let u go What is the one thing
that u can never let go of? I suppose happiness. I’m a very happy man
right now. But if u talk bout physical things, my mobile phone, credit
cards are two things i don't travel without
Flying Without Wings
Have u ever had a scary experience while flying?
Yes, the last time we were on the way to Singapore, we were very flying
in from Australia and the plane was struck by lightning twice! It was
really scary, the plane rocked twice. I’m not a usually scared of flying
because it's a big part of my job, but sometimes i do get scared when
incidents like this happen
Fool Again
What's the most foolish thing you've ever done?
i don't know, it’s a hard question. I’ve done a lot of silly things, but
I can't think of one that's the most foolish. I’ve probably done a million
foolish things in my life that u can't remember any of!
Seasons in the Sun
What's your fave season?
Winter, because I love Christmas. I like hot weather better, but I just
love the whole Christmas scene.
I have a dream
Would u say being in Westlife has been a dream come true for you?
Definitely, I’m very happy with the way things are going. I don't know
if I could actually say it's a dream come true, I just know that I’m very
happy with my life at the moment. I just want to be happy and healthy
and not to have worry about anything else. I wanted to be Michael Jackson
when I was younger, I don't want to be him now, but I do want to meet
him
My Love
How would u rate yourself as a lover?
I don't know. You’ll have to ask the girls, I suppose (laughs) I think
I’m good, though. I'll give myself a five out of 10.
Against All Odds
Would u say that determination played a big part in getting you where
you are today?
Definitely, it’s a big part of it. The five of us started out wanting
to be the biggest pop band in the world and we worked very hard for 2
years to achieve that. So I would say determination and a little bit of
luck and everything else.
What Makes A Man
So tell us, what makes a man? Being Irish! Irish men do it best, you know
what I mean? (laughs) I should be asking u that question, actually I guess
it's being yourself, Do I think I’m macho? I guess I’m macho in a way
but I’m not big on the whole going to the gym thing. And I’m never afraid
to cry. I always cry when i leave my mum, but that's because she always
cries and that makes me cry! But she doesn't cry as much anymore, she
used to be bawling in the street every time I left home (laughs)
I Lay My Love On You
How would u lay your love on someone? If i like someone, I always stare
at them a lot. So that when I catch their eye, they then go,’ He’s into
me!’ and I’ll go,’ She’s into me!' and then I’ll go talk to her. When
it comes to love, I’ll definitely very affectionate, in all areas! (laughs)
Uptown Girl
What do u look for in a girl?
I look for an uptown girl. I like girl that's beautiful, has nice legs,
a nice bum and is funny. Someone who doesn't worry bout how she looks.
Just a nice girl who I can have a laugh with and talk to, that’s it. Oh,
and a nice bum to! (laughs)
