Please include the date and concert venue that you attended. Review by Lauren (Cape Town, South Africa) I went to the Cape Town concert on the 18th of May at the Belville Velodrome. This was the first show for the South African leg for Westlife. They would be jetting off to Sun City then finish off in Johannesburg and end an unforgettable tour for South Africa. That night the show started at 7:00pm(I think it was!)and me and my 2 friends had to quickly catch a bite to eat at McDonalds at 6:15! What a rush! My parents didn't feel like rushing though! They took their time whilst we were jumping in our seats. We swallowed our food whole and waited inpatiently to go. We eventually got going and got into the car. We listened to Coast To Coast the whole way there and my friends and I couldn't stop talking about what they would look like and what they would be singing! We got there and found a line that went over hills and mountains! What a long walk that was gonna be! But wait! That's my friend there waiting near the opening gates! What luck! We got to our seats in perfect view of the stage and we were ready to rumble! Darren Scott or "Just Plain Darren" and he's known on 5fm radio came out on stage to introduce the warm up band, Semisane. Semisane(a South African band opened up). They were really good too. They played for half and hour then we waited for another half hour for Westlife. Everytime someone passed the curtains there was a huge roar! Music was playing including Ronan Keating and Robby Williams. The crowd were all singing on the tops of their voics "I don't wanna rock DJ!" and "Life is a Rollercoaster just got a ride!"!! Then they came out! Westlife! The curtains dropped and the fireworks went and we saw them perform their the first song "Dreams Come True" Kian lost his shoe in the middle on the song but went to get another straight after they'd finished the song. Then..18 songs of pure Westlife. I couldn't believe it! Westlife was actually singing in front of me! It was a dream! But it was real! Wow! Their voices were better than ever and their clothes were great. The "Uptown Girl" was our very own Miss Teen South Africa. One lucky girl she was! They decided to take our picture but this was just one of their jokes! Kian, Nicky and Bryan dropped their pants instead! They ended with Flying without Wings which was a great song to end off with! It was over! Then after the show I was in a daze! I couldn't believe I had just seen Westlife live. I dropped off my friends and went home to have a good nights sleep but I couldn't sleep yet! I was still replaying those last few songs in my mind. For the next couple of weeks every second song was Westlife! And every conversation was about Westlife! And people who weren't fans before were now a huge fan! The whole of South Africa had gone crazy! But that's ok with me. If the whole world talked about Westlife all day I'd be one happy girl!
