UKMC 2: OK we are here with Bryan and Shane...
Competition Winner Amie Tachauer: Do you envisage having solo careers
in the future?
Shane: I would not want to stop singing ever. I love it too much and can
totally see myself doing something solo if Westlife ever did come to an
end for any reason.
Competition Winner Kerry Louise Robinson: If you were stranded on a desert
island for one month what five things would you take?
Bryan: Depends which month but my girlfriend Kerry, a mid wife, a mobile
phone... eerrm its too hard, I can't choose, you could take credit cards
but you can't spend anything, and you could take a football but theres
no one to play footy with.
Shane: I would take Faith Hill, and the three competition winners.
UKMC 2: Gem 038 wants to know... The papers are constantly printing rumours
about you. Do you ever feel like turning round and telling them its true
to shut them up, even if its not?
Shane: Sometimes. It does get ridiculous. Last week there was a picture
of a girl with me in a car which was my sister. And the papers were like
"Check out who's revving Shane's engine" and it was my sis. So sometimes
I have to laugh.
UKMC 2: Fifi Filly asks... HI SHANE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH - HOW WILL YOU
CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR?
Shane: I will celebrate by going home and by going somewhere hot. Probably
go out with a group of lads and have a boys week on holiday.
UKMC 2: RAksRad2000 has a question about Kerry... Bryan, Kerry's presenting
(on popworld) was great! When she goes back to work after the baby is
born, is she going to work in Irish tv or British?
Bryan: I don't really know although there has been talks about Irish TV.
There are less TV stations at home, also one is close to where we live.So
that would be nice, she could walk to work. If she takes a job in English
TV she will have to come here to live and I want to have an Irish child.

UKMC 2: SugarKane73 asks... What's left for Westlife? You seem to have
done most things - do you fancy going into films? Or producing other acts?
Bryan: Both.
Shane: Neither. I just want to carry on singing.
Bryan: Jokes, I a good stripper so maybe I could do Fatal Attraction Three.
UKMC 2: CatTay00 wants to know... What's the strangest thing that a fan
has ever asked you to do for them, and did you do it?
Bryan: Pick someone's nose! but I'm making it up.
Bryan: Lots of fans want a kiss and sometimes I think afterwards 'I shouldn't
have done that.'
UKMC 2: PennistonSadie wants to know... did u ever think the band would
be a succesful as they have turned out to be and if u all hadnt of made
it what do u think u would be doing now???
Bryan: I would be in Popstars like Hearsay.
Shane: I was in college for a while so I don't really know. When we started
the band Mark had a job delivering pizzas. We would be rehearsing or doing
a live a cappella performance and he would be missing so to get him there
we would deliberately order pizzas to get him to join in as much as possible.
UKMC 2: NJBati asks... Congratulations to all of you for making Westlife
so succesful. Do you think fame changes people and has it changed you?
Bryan: Yes fame does not necessarily change me but it does affect others
around us.
Shane: It does change you I think. We have become more mature and our
outlook on life has changed.
UKMC 2: Vykkylee wants to know... Is it true that Kian is now the only
single member of the band?
Shane: I'm still single! Mark is also single!
UKMC 2: Tufty4655 wants to know...Shane, u r the sexiest bloke alive!!!!
What would a girl have to do to impress you?
Shane: A girl would have to have a lovely personality and be beautiful
and also have good legs. I like a nice bottom but boobs do not impress
me much.
UKMC 2: UKMC Box wants to know... Bryan you mentioned awhile back in the
BBC Chat Room that if you had a boy you would call him Ronan and if it
was a girl you would call her a french name - now you are an expectant
father are these names still your hot favourites?
Bryan: No not Ronan. I don't even remember saying that. It will be Dylan
James if is a boy or Molly if it is a girl.
UKMC 2: Bex1984 wants to know... If Bryan is scared of tall buildings
did you have any problems getting him to go out over the audience during
'Flying Without Wings' at the concerts?

Bryan: I am not afraid of heights but I am afraid of things falling off
buildings. But I used to do rock climbing so heights don't worry me.
Shane: He's not too bad except when people like Mark scare him. Mark went
up to this sheer drop when we were in Mexico and was standing right on
the edge - it was so scary.
Bryan: Yeah, I just think gravity and weight, you're gonna fall off.
UKMC 2: Emilie Halligan wants to know... My sister lives in Los Angeles
and was telling me recently that your popularity, despite not being as
huge as here, is actually increasing. Is this Westlife's main goal, to
crack America? Or are there other aims you have as a band?
Shane: Yes, we want to crack America but we probably won't do it this
year. We also love South America especially Brazil. Hi Brazil and Hi Latinos.
UKMC 2: Calderaber asks... Bryan, what would you have liked to have got
for your birthday that you didn't get?
Bryan: A present of the rest of the group. I wanted a pram but the rest
of the gang wouldn't buy me one.
UKMC 2: Ericacacacaaaaaa wants to know... Shane, what was the last CD
you bought? Shane: I brought Shaggie "It Wasn't Me" and the Limp Bizkit
CD.
